  1. Just testing to see if my message will appear? Posted last
night before going out into the tent...too light for me to
sleep now - and it does not seem to have appeared although
it's been sent from my mailbox?

    mmm.

According to my newsreader and my news server there are
699 newsgroups dedicated to "test". Why not post there?

My apologies, I am fairly new to posting and as I posted to
this newsgroup and don't read any others I assumed it was
what I do? I have posted since and it seems ok - my mate has
just said that these messages do not just appear on outlook
express - but also online via google n other sites?

Stored for ever and ever. Archaeologists thousands of years
from now will be digging up computers from landfill sites
and using the information to piece together our lifestyle.
Museums will have exhibits entitled "typical uk.rec.walker
c2004". Based on recent discussions the model will be
wearing dodgy shorts, sitting outside a reconstructed Argos
tent, carrying such necessities as walking poles, GPS,
camera, clutching a well thumbed list of Marylins, nursing a
bandaged knee and glaring at the next door exhibits of a
Series1 Landrover and another entitled "GOML".

*Splutter!* Anyone here any good at drawing cartoons? That
would make a brilliant post card!

the garden look a bit small though.

    c) My mother in law is named Marilyn but I don't want to
    enlarge on that.

    d) Went out without the poles y'day - I got this theory
about my wrists I'm testing out.

    e) Camera - aye, point & shoot anything these days but I
    blame this newsgroup for that!

    f) who gives one?

    g) The knee held up well yesterday, praps it only kicks in
    after 10 or sore miles?

    h) My neighbour has a Mazda 6 and hers is a BMW z4, both
washed and polished twic a week he said enviously.

    i) ..am an expert in no field at all, computers comeway down
the list although I sit behind one every day.

j...ust hope this gives them a better insight into
    welsh.co.walkers

Quick someone post a picture so they can see what they
    looked like in 2004!

    Happy Fathers Day btw.
