Is it possible for fibromyalgia to cause fatigue so severe that it is impossible to walk more then ten feet?
I have an illness which has been evading diagnosis in spite of an incredible number and variety of medical tests. In December, I spent a week in the hospital due to being unable to walk more than ten feet. I have gradually improved and can now walk over 100 feet. My only symptom is severe muscle fatigue after slight exertion. I feel well if I rest most of the time. I can sit up about two hours before I have to lie down to rest and recover from that.
It seems that I probably do have fibromyalgia. If so, could that be a sufficient explanation for my extreme fatigue? It seems unlikely to me, not being an expert on this disease, but no other answer has been found.

The differential diagnosis for "fatigue"is endless. It could be 1000 things.
She mucks around with her thyroid meds. adds T3 (or something). frequently adjusts the dosages herself.. That's not how we're treated where I come from. J
