At $3 for a small, 14oz bottle I'll pass. I'll give my $1.29
to Heinz rather than make somebody else obnoxiously rich.

This is same ketchup sold as the Kroger, Aldi, Save-A-Lot
and Certified house brands, as well as dozens of others
including some un-named national brands.

Why buy this ketchup, pay twice as much, and support GWB
when you can get the same thing at most any grocer without
making it a political statement?

Me too. I thought maybe the list of American ingredients
would include arsenic and dioxin laced water or that there
would be a recommendation to use in on mad cow burgers. I
also though that maybe they were comparing Bush and ketchup
in that they are both very slow. So, just how many ways are
Bush and ketchup similar? I think they are both composed
entirely of vegetable matter.

Unfortunately that haas been my impression of American made
items or items generally made for America. They are lower
quality and break sooner. Hard to be patriotic when the
person selling these things is more interested in making a
buck than selling a quality item. Isn't that why many
Americans would never dream of buying an American car?

I don't know. I think you have to be careful when you buy
anything. Not all foreign made things are good. Not all
American made things are bad. I think that companies are
finding that parts made cheaply in foreign countries and
assembled here are not the bargain that they seem to be on
the surface. And that brings up another point. It is
probably really hard to get something that is entirely made
and assembled in one country.
