I have been given some time off. This Thursday lunchtime to Saturday morning is mine entirely. I plan to spend the two nights in the trusty Argos somewhere in the hills. Plus instant lighting bbq's. Plus booze. I'm thinking of heading off to Wales. Anyone else interested?

Sorry, no. Managed to knacker my knee again last weekend and that after a 2 month layoff too. Not sure I will be much use on the Anniversary meet but this week is certainly far too soon to take any further risks.

Well if there are no other takers I might be up for it, but only if you fancy coming to South Wales (i.e. the Beacons). I'm strapped for cash at the moment so I really can't afford to travel very far, and I'd prefer to camp wild. If you have lots of stuff to carry I know a few good spots that are only a short walk from the nearest road.
I'm a bit shattered at the moment after a long walk, but hopefully I'll recover by Thursday.
I had planned to spend tonight on the Gower coast with my nephew, but we gave it a miss due to dodgy weather. There's some rain heading south, not sure if it will hit tonight or tomorrow. Should have passed by Thursday though.
Our plan was to spend the night on a beach under the stars with a driftwood fire. Don't know if you'd be interested in that as an option.

What a lovely thought but just too short notice. Have a great time.
