  1. There is a rule change in the US Swimming regarding pacing
devices. I heard rumors that swimmers in Europe have used a
water proof radio in the ear to communicate with coach. Any
of our European members heard about this?

  2. what is the rule change and when did it come in?

the US Swimming rule will be in line with FINA rule 10.17.
    It is effective immediately.
