    1) Not on a mountain bike.

    2) There are only 4 places in the lower 48 where one can stand at "14,400 feet plus." (of course 3
    of those are in Colorado)

    3) Inside of aircraft is right out.

Actually, there are only 5 places in the lower 48 over 14,400 .... can't believe I forgot that one.

JD and Darsh's ride on Mt Elbert (I believe it was that peak) is well documented.

  13. Elbert?? at 14433? I knew it was possible (you can drive to within ~6 miles of the top). I didn't
know there was a legal route .... My apologies for doubting you.

A previous poster here (Matt in NJ) was a Loadmaster in the USAF and shared a pic of him riding
inside a KC-10 way up there.

I'm high if 4,700 ft is high.

Seen similar .... Inside aircraft should still qualify as "Urban" or "Trials" at best.

    Hmmm I just got back from 10,783 feet(13 298073E 3761942N) ... currently hunkered at 4,635 feet (13
    323986E 3770934N) approximately ... so I guess, perhaps, we're both high.

It's listed 14,433, though recent surveys have it listed higher.
