Well, a month or so back, I posted asking about the
Lakelander 3000, and a lot of you said that I shouldn't do
it. Well, I hope you're glad that I ignored your advice.
Only joking, it just seemed a little strange to be told that
I was going to make a difference to the erosion of footpaths
that see millions of feet a year.
Well, I've planned it now, and I've got a few mad weeks
coming up:
1st weekend in July, I'm in a big Scout dragnet (basically a
huge game of manhunt over 40 miles and 36 hours).
2nd weekend in July, it's my silver DofE expedition
practise.
3rd weekend in July, it's the Lakelander.
So, I figure that that's about 100 miles in three weekends -
and I can't wait.
Bring on the summer (oh wait, it's already here 🙂 )
Peace out, Will.
