By the way, that article says that Webb is 29 years old,
which can't possibly be right, given that he was breaking
highschool records in 2001 and isn't mentally retarded. 😉

It's a mistake. Webb is 21 years old.

ballgame with the lack of pacers. In Athens experience will
matter more than in the European races and my money would
still be on El G. But who knows? Webb ran by himself in the
Home Depot Invitational; I didn't see the other two.

Those would be their team affiliations; note Jim Spivey's
AW, presumably Athletics West. Steve Scott was with Tiger
Track Club, Jim Ryun at the University of Kansas and Seneca
Lassiter at Arkansas (think I got all those right).
