I recently installed the Energy compact crankset on my bike.
You can get it in either the Shimano Octalink or ISIS
pattern. If you get the Octalink compatible model you merely
install it on your existing bottom bracket, lower and adjust
as necessary your front derailleur, then you're good to go.

One note of caution. When adjusting your derailleur, pay
close attention to the low limit. Keep it very close so your
chain doesn't overshift, and overshoot off the little ring
onto your bottom bracket.

Is the Ritchey Pro 110V double crank out yet? Ritchey has
been promising this crank for easily 8 months or more. I've
known 2 people who wanted it and eventually bought something
else. Its my understanding that its still vaporware....

That is correct. Go for the FSA, cheaper and available now.
The Ritchey is still 'vaporware'.
