In the writings of Paul Simonite, the <[email hidden]>
scrolls contained these prophetic words:

The same here in Holland. Not as many as in Scotland but
nevertheless very itchy.
I hate them, they like me :-((

Was told 2 weeks ago by a resident of Strachur that they had
arrived there. Argyll can be a terrible place.
Camping at Rothiemurchus last week there were only a few in
evidence, and they only came out for an hour after 8pm. This
was when we were trying to sit outside and eat of course.

Coming back from Exmoor last night we found ourselves
driving through clouds of what I assume were probably gnats.
Having the benefit of the windscreen between us and them it
was an oddly satisfying sensation!

Absolute misery at Sheil Bridge last weekend too. The wet
summer here in the north is helping the little bast*rds
breed like one-oh!
