I hate chewing gum but my morning sickness was 24 hours for
the entire pregnancies. Chewing mint flavored gum helped me
some as did (now this might seem odd) grapefruits and
drinking vinegar.

Maybe not, but neither is the acid from vomiting easy on the
teeth. When you feel like throwing up 24/7, you do what you
have to do to relieve it. My teeth had no ill effects
afterwards.
