It's more than just a padding issue. I got some extreme
steering silicone grips several months ago, and while I
love the grip, hy hands have started aching, sore knucles,
fingers pop on extending etc...
I think my grip diameter is too small. Is there some
hueristic for picking the right thickness?
FWIW, I use size XXL gloves.
Thanks, Bruce
Wow. So, you're smart enough to use the word "heuristic,"
but dumb enough to fall for "extreeeeem steering?"
If you have XXL hands, you're probably heavy too, and put
that much more weight on your hands. I say get rid of too-
thing grips. I really like the cushion of the Serfas Dual
Density grips, but am using Crank Bros. Neo Grips on my mtb.
They're really thin but I find them super comfortable. I'm
never in the saddle, but still maintain a light touch. And,
I wear MD gloves, so that makes me smaller than you (enough
confusion, I'm 185 lbs.).
Seriously, is there someone offering "extreme
steering" grips??
