I believe that the M-Frame has hinged temples, while the Pro-M has fixed non-folding temples.

spot on serenaslu. that is the only difference. I think they even cost the same! Different colour frames though.

do they both fit the same? are there any advatages of one over the other?

I prefer the Pro M frames to the standard version. They seem to be a little more flexible and don't seem to put as much pressure on the head. This may be due to a stiffer plastic needed for the hinged model. Im not sure about this but from my observations the pro would be more suitable for everything except storage as it cannot be folded, but who buys oakleys to sit them on the bench. Put em on ya head! The hinge just seems to be something else that can be damaged, but may be useful if u wish to stow them in a bag or something. I just wear mine on top of my head when not in use and am looking into getting the "vault" which is a hard case that houses the pro m frame and up to 2 spare lenses.

has anyone tried the "vented" lenses? does this work well or does it have the 'head out the window' effect?--does it make you teary-eyed from the wind/vents?

I have both vented and non vented lenses. For cycling the vented ones work really well. The aditional air flow helps stop them from fogging up.

if i have the regular non-vented M Frames, will the Vented lenses fit if i buy them?

Hey, i just got my oakley m frames, Pro Hybrid S, and i got a clear replacement lense. I know you can swap lenses, but how? is there a trick to it becuase i tried to pull it out but i am afraid of breaking it. Thanks.

The trick to getting the lenses out is gently pull the middle of the lens just above the nose piece. This should pop the lens out of the groove in the frame. The lens should now be fixed by the two ends of the lens to the corners of the frame.

Then gently squeze the the ends of the lens so that it flexes a little. This should allow you to be able to unhook one end of the lens and remove.

Same process in reverse to put the new lens in. With a bit of practice it will take no time at all.
