Hark! I heard [email hidden] say:

the bread; the other ingredients can be found at any
decent grocery store. This summer a family member is
going to bring us some pizza crust rolls from "The
Original" (aka "OIP"😉 when he visits Pennsylvania. I'm
not sure how many to get -- my question is how long can
we expect to keep these rolls in the freezer and still
taste good? And what is the best way to package bread
for freezing? I do have a deep freeze, so it's not like
they'll be stuck in the top of the fridge.

I am a born and raised Philadelphia and I have no clue
what a "pizza crust roll is."
OIP has several restaurants in Central PA; State College,
Lock Haven, and Mill Hall are three that I've been to. They
sell pizza as well as cheesesteaks, and use pizza dough for
their cheesesteak rolls. Mary ("MareCat"😉 would know what
I'm talking about; I recall drooling over OIP cheesesteaks
with her in RFC in the past. They're chewy and sooo good!
Quoted message said:For a traditional Philly cheese steak, you need Amoroso
rolls, which are easy to find in Philly.
I've only been to Philly once, briefly, and I've never had
Amoroso's rolls, but they look yummy:

They sell them here in WA; next time I head up to the
Seattle area, I'll have to try some.

individually wrapped in plastic wrap and frozen, but I
have never had sandwhich rolls that long to say for sure.
Thanks, Stan... :-)
