Saturday i was delegated to mow the lawn :-( I'd been out
too much riding, so said SWMBO, and the kids were hiding in
the grass to avoid cleaning under their beds. After just a
few 'mows' the infernal machine blew up - loads of smoke and
graunching - it had died and I was off the hook.

Oh, no, "you can use that trailer you spent so much on" came
the response. "You can go and get a new one".

So with trailer hitched to the trice, I trundled to the
nearest main town for a new mower. It was a slow ride home -
and I took a detour via a nice pub. 15 miles with a mower
behind required suitable refreshment.

On returning home the kids were so excited over the new
machine that they completed the lawns while I polished
my bike :-)

Well, it was one way to get someone else to cut the grass.

With a mower on board you could have taken a short cut.
