Need Some Advice

pain behind my eyes, high PSA (another biopsi, no cancer),
no fever, more antibiotics. Jan 2004 - Bad sinus
infection, while on the antibiotics. Feb 2004 - Infectious
Disease Specialist finds presence of a fungal infection in
blood test. Urine culture, both before and after prostate
message cultures negative. Takes me off antibiotics, puts
me on Sporanox. April 2004 - Fatigue, weakness, prostate
pain, pain behind my eyes, no fever

I apologize for such a long post, but need some advice.
Both my family doctor and urologist do not believe in
systemic fungal infections, and are providing very little
help. The infectuous disease specialist only sees me every
two to three months. So here my questions:

1. From what I've read a systemic fungal infection can
cause many of my symptoms, including the nodules I have
on my scalp, and pustules on my back, and the blister I
get in my mouth, and can be very serious. But I do not
feel my infectious disease specialist is trying to
find, or treat the fungal agressively enough. I'm
afraid I might be doing serious damage to my immune and
adrenal system. I believe both the flare up in
September and April were stress related. Should I try
to find another doctor?

2. Also, I'm not totally convinced I have a fungal
infection. Other possibilities are kidney damage,
adrenal and or pituitary problems, epstein barr or CFS.
Should I be looking at another specialist?

Again I thank everyone for being patient on such a long
post, but really don't know what to do. All I know is I
feel bad, and both my personal life (I was to fatigued to
push my grandaughter on the swing last night), and job
(can't travel, can't think) are suffering.

1) are you reinfecting yourself ( hands to mouth and scalp)
?
2) have you had an overnight sleep study to check for sleep
apnea? (fatigue)
3) have the head and mouth manifestations been biopsied?
4) any connection between sun/UV exposure?
5) my ex-doctor said to eat live culture plain yogurt for
systemic yeast before and after antibiotics- probably
daily. But I never had what you have (so bad).

There's a man on the lupus newsgroup who's wife is having
bumps or sores excised and stitched from her head. HOWEVER,
we don't know (for years now) if he has Lupus or if she does
or doesn't and trying to get answers as to what each of them
have is like trying to catch the wind. There are others
there with lupus or discoid who get scalp sores and mouth
sores. (hence the suggestion of a biopsy)

There aren't many guys on the lupus newsgroup (so prostate
isn't discussed and have you checked your biopsy information
with the alt.support.cancer.prostate cancer newsgroup just
to double check), so no point in asking on alt.support.lupus
unless you're eventually diagnosed If you get the above
sorted out/ruled out and/or if something sounds familiar
here, maybe see a rheumatologist?

An endocrinologist may be of assistance to rule out
any gladular problems.... I know it is just another
Doc for another opinion but it would seem like you
have seen everyone else.... good neurologists are
often hard to find too.

My mouth blister,and back pustule always appear in the
place, and always when I feel bad or have middle back pain.
I believe the come from the inside out, so to speak. My
mother always said a boil is infection trying to get out.

No, my GP said they we're not anything to worrk about. I
haven't been able to show them to my ID, because she runs in
and out so fast.
