When will the 2005 model Specialized bikes start appearing
on LBS floors? Also do you think Specialized will ever make
standard geometry bikes again?

They will. One day all frames will be compact design, and
some enterprising fellow/fellowette will write a marketing
blurb about how horizontal top tubes have all kinds of
advantages in terms of rigidity, acceleration, cornering,
result in a lighter frame for the same "feel" etc etc etc.And then they will be THE LATEST THING and everyone will
make them.--
