I DID pig a bit this evening: had a butter round (type of
cookie) that tasted good going down, but not as good as I
used to think, and NOT worth 5 whole points! I ate 28
points, so was 6 points over for the day, but still down 3
on the week. They are a write off, as of tonight. Start
fresh in the morning for a new week and a new menu.
Friday: oven baked breaded plaice and low fat chips, with
fresh veg: 8 points Saturday: WW ready meals: about 6
points (I'm out all afternoon, and won't want to cook!)
Sunday: BBQ meat (I shall have a nice low point chunk of
chicken or pork), salad, new spuds, fruit salad: 10 points
total Monday: baked jacket spud, with low fat tuna mayo,
and salad: 6 points Tuesday: WW recipe spaghetti
Bolognese, 6 points Wednesday: low fat sausages, new
potatoes, fresh veg: 6 points.
Once I've calculated the main meal of the day, made a big
pot of zero point soup for lunches, and factored in
breakfast, I'm happy!

How the BBQ ACTUALLY worked out on my plate:
A small steak, about 3 oz: 2.5 points A home made extra lean
beefburger: 3.5 points
1/2 a chicken skewer: 0.5 point Couscous salad: 4 points
Bread: 2 points green salad: 0 points mayonnaise: 1 point
3 glasses wine @ 2 point per glass: 6 points.
Total: 19.5.
Now this sounds like a lot for one meal, and it is, BUT!
1 I had no breakfast! 2 I had a single 4 point sandwich for
lunch! My total FOR THE DAY was
2.5, so I was only 1.5 points over, and I have 4.5 points
saved from yesterday and earlier in my week, so I still
have 3 points to save for tomorrow! NOT bad going, really!
I wasn't going to count points today, but I did just to see
how far adrift my estimate was. It was way off for the one
meal, but not bad for the day, and I haven't used all the
points I saved for it, so I feel quite pleased - and VERY
FULL! If you feel the ground shake, it's probably me
exploding!
