Sheldon...could you post the name of that cookware vendor
you recommended not too long ago?
I'm currently working with a really old, beat up, no-name
aluminum saute pan that I've had since my college days. It
doesn't perform all that well (the bottom is warping, and
the pan has always had hot spots).
So, I'm looking to upgrade to a decent saute pan. In
addition, I'll probably be adding a couple of sauce pans and
a fry pan as well.
I'm looking at stainless steel, because I plan on going to
an induction system someday. All-Clad seems to be a popular
favorite, and it is certainly well-advertised. But I seem to
recall you posting the name of another vendor not too long
ago that was really good...better-built than All-Clad
Stainless.
I tried a google news search, but I couldn't find recent
messages from you (within the past few weeks or months) on
cookware. (Maybe I just didn't look hard enough.) However, I
found several that you had posted over a year ago mentioning
Piazza...was that the vendor?
Thanks in advance for your help. I don't mind spending
money on great cookware, but I want really high-quality
stuff for my money.
