I have been prescribed stain to lower cholesterol and am not
keen on taking any drugs. I am determined to do it by diet.
Can statins be used as a quick fix if I slip up on my diet
occasionally.....like taking one after a BBQ or do they have
to be taken as a complete course.

meant as a maintenance drug. Many MDs think they (statins)
are just great, incl. some I respect. But they do not work
for everyone. -
