No it's not. One atom of Pu will give off a single alpha
particle, and then it's not Pu anymore (it become uranium or
maybe americium, i think). One alpha particle won't do
*that* much damage. A fatal dose of plutonium might be in
the micrograms, but bolulism toxin can be fatal in the
picograms.

Years ago my significant other was the exec assistant for
an absolute nightmare, despot of a boss. He was horrificly
overweight & had some other health problems. Amongst her
duties for the idiot was buying him snax to "help him
w/his diet."

Her contribution was a brand of microwave popcorn just
laden w/palm oil (saturated fats, triglycerides, LDL, &
other good stuff). Between that & some other [censored], he put
on another 10 lbs over a month & split his pants right
before a big meeting.
