    ==================

    Interesting site Kamus. Another book for you to check out is
    "Wilderness Ranger Cookbook", a collection of Backcountry
    recipes by Forest Service Wilderness Rangers. Published by
    Falcon Publishing, Inc., Helena, Montana (USA) in 1990. It
    has several recipes and lots of other information. Some of
    the recipes include Scones, granola, Hobo Stew, tacos,
    trout, popcorn, fry bread, etc..

    Thanks. I like to cook and I like to hike; I don't see why I
    have to eat glop when I travel.... But finding suitable
    travel recipes is tough.

    I'll look up the book.

    Check out "Old Fashioned Dutch Oven Cooking" by Don Holm.
    Won't help for hiking unless you just like to carry cast
    iron around on your hikes 🙂 But for camping, if you build a
    fire, some interesting recipes and ideas.
