  1. Went with a friend for a private fitting of Weekenders
clothes. Ended up ordering 2 cardigan sweaters (black &
turquoise), 1 pair pants (turquoise), 1 shell (black), and 1
tunic (turquoise). I already have a few tops that will mix
well with the cardigans. Looks like I'm just about set for
clothes for my trip. My friend also bought a really cute
outfit (black skirt with ruffly hem & butter cup ruffly
    sleeved shirt).

Kate, thank you so much for reminding me of Weekenders. The
rep even gave me $25 off for the gift certificate she was
supposed to send me and didn't!

Now, if I can just lose the 5 # I gained last week. We did
the annual Quilt Shop Hop last weekend - one day was a bus
trip - visited 5 shops - 3 of them up in the mountains of
central Idaho, 2 in valleys amongst beautiful mountains in
Oregon. And - boy did we eat!!!! Gotta get busy now & get
    that 5 # off. I ordered 1 yoga dvd's & plan to start doing
    yoga at home.

Glad you found clothes you like! 🙂 I have a 'party' booked
for the 19th of this month. I'd send you an invite, but
somehow... 😉 I have plans to replace my navy things that
are all hanging like limp rags...

I also need to lose a few pounds gained over a beer soaked
bank holiday weekend! Not that *I* was beer soaked, just
that there was less exercise and more food than usual, and
while there was no shop hop for me, I DID discover a new to
    me quilt fabric outlet...

    What is Weekenders?

They are a Canadian clothing company. The original concept
was invented by a business man with a wife who always packed
WAAAAY too much stuff when they went away for weekends, so
he invented stylish knit clothing that looks smart, packs
small, and doesn't crumple! Look here for the full story:
