Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced first tri bike that
I can build on? A local friend thinks the Cervelo Dual is a
good choice at $1600. Any others?

Also custom made for you and painted however you want. Their entry model is the Cronalu - very aero and stiff aluminum. Really nice bike (from insiders).

bike and take a test ride on each one you consider.
