Is there a rear light availabe that can be completely mounted on the bike without the aid of tools?
All the rear lights that I've seen require a mount that remains on the bike when the light is removed. That irritates me when I need to drop the seat post. I can put the mount high up on the seat post but when wearing a long waterproof the light might not be seen. I've seen the Photon Backupz but I'm not convinced about the fastening mechanism.
I'm after something like the products that are available for front lights that use either an integrated strap or bolt on mechanism.

Cateye certainly used to make a rear light with a friction strap fixing, not seen them for a while though. You'd think they'd be very popular, would make switching the light between different bike easier too...
