Hi everyone, Yesterday evening when I tried to access rec.bicycles.marketplace, I got an error
message saying something like it was no longer available. When I try to do a search and
re-subscribe, it doesn't come up in the list of available newsgroups. Is anyone else having this
problem? I want to know whether I've mucked something up on my machine or if something is down outh
there somewhere. TIA Lyle

Try reloading your groups list. Sometimes a group seems to disappear, but reloading the groups list
usually fixes this. Outlook Express seems to do this a lot.In general, it's all or nothing with newsgroups. Either all the ones your server carries are
available, or none -- except for moderated groups, which can have other problems. The only moderated
rec.bicycles group is rec.bicycles.off-road (and it seems to have a lot of those "other problems"😉.Matt O.
