This is gonna sound pretty whacked, i'm sure. I am playing a part in a play that requires me to do some EXTREME yelling. During and after the time I do this (especially while rehearsing) I get BLINDING EXTREME headaches that will go away in about 5 minutes. The pain is isolated mainly to the front of my head (same area as a sinus headache). This is a 10 on the pain scale with my absolute worse sinus (or otherwise headache) being a 6. If I begin yelling again, the pain returns. Is this just pressure building, or am I in any real danger here? Makes me wonder if my head is really gonna explode. :-) Oh, and no real long term side effects... stop yelling, pain goes away... end of story.
