Though I'm paranoid I've always assumed the 'bent would be
relatively safe (at least saf/er/) from thieves[1] because
it would be relatively hard to shift such an obviously
different thing without getting spotted. I seem to have
forgotten to never underestimate the Power Of Human

Good news on the Spirit, anyway, can't have the TIE fighter
fleet grounded before we take over...

Never underestimate human stupidity. One of the founders of
the International Unicycling Federation recovered a unique
carbon fibre mountain unicycle, worth the best part of $1000
IIRC, after the thief took it into a bike shop to have the
cranks removed.
