Maybe it's just me, but I'm noticing a lot of tandem riders this year. Is there a tandem revolution going on, or am I just having an acid flashback? Philly is replete with tandems now!

My buddy lets me ride his tandem (not even sure it has a name on it and it's all graveyard components). It's so much fun. It's a babe magnet. I would love to ride a racing tandem with him (we are strong riders), but I'd feel kinda goofy in my lycra with another boy on a tandem...not that there's anything wrong with that.
