Or a new frame.

You can get BBs that dont need a thread in the frame.
Greyville bring them into the UK or e mail me with your
shell width and axel length and i will see what i can do.

I cross-threaded mine (dont ask).

Ignore those other fcukers Matt - if it's just cross-
threaded, it's highly likely that running the correct sized
tap back through carefully will recover the thread and
remove your woes - there's a fair bit of length to those
threads, and a BB shell is quite wide - should be plenty of
recoverable thread surface area to see that BB go back in
there nice and solid. You'll never know unless you get it
done, though.

I agree with Shauny's comments - a tap can work wonders and
can be done by any good bike shop for a few quid. However,
if the worst comes to the worst, Argos Racing Cycles can
help. For 40 British beer tokens, they bored out the old
threads on my old Clockwork (which had been mauled beyond
use with a hacksaw by a previous owner) and bonded in a
sleeve with a new thread in it. A very reasonable price for
some top quality workmanship.
