I am about to buy a bicycle in the range of Y160-180,000 (about 1,400 Us dollars) and have been riding for only 2 years now...I live in Japan and can have a factory bike cutomized to fit my body (Bridgestone Anchor RA5) or I can go for the Giant TCR. Has anyone ever ridden an Anchor? (the name sounding obviously ominous) Any suggestions for bikes in my price range? I am a short woman (155cms tall, 74cm inseam) and ride mostly hills...bring on the suggestions! Since the acnhor page is in Jap..let me tell you...anchor, carbon fork, alu, complete Shimano 105, sweet shimano rims (better than the Giant) weighing in at 9kg for my size.

Let the debate begin! cheers!
My daughters still ride their Bridgestones. They are quality built and fit them right. If the Bridgestone fits you right, I suggest you go with it.
Giant TCR is a beast of a bike. I've had the extreme pleasure of riding one and would recommend it to anyone. Getting my first one really soon to race with.
