I'm not a dirt rider but Navasink woods has some good trails. Side trails might qualify. Some good climbs.

Round valley sate park has some good riding but might be a bit far depends on where your coming from. In my opinion the best riding in the tri state area is in Philidelphia Pa at the Wissahicken section of Fairmount park. I used to live in central Jersey area (now NYC) and would ride at Clayton park the most, but when you get a chance Philadelphia is a must.
