I was hoping to pick up my Stinger with its new frameset this weekend, but was thwarted by a most irritating detail change; the new frame has a larger headset, hence new steerer and front forks, which means that the rear brake pipe needs to be 3" longer than the old one. Messrs. Hope have been commissioned to make a new one, which should be ready early next week, so after about two months consigned to wedgiedom I'll be back on my 'bent from next weekend, I hope.

Side by side comparison cycling the same route with the same regulars, do you notice any difference in drivers' behaviour between the bent and the wedgie?

Yes. I am given more space on the 'bent, definitely. It does wear off over time with some drivers, but not all.

I'd second that. Only got cut up a few times over the winter months on the 'bent, but as soon as I was back on a 2 wheel wedgie, once every few days or more
