Seriously, might this be Jan's secret way of shedding those
last pounds prior to the Tour? It would explain why his face
always appears fat while his body has slimmed down. I would
also explain his lack of great concern for being overweight.
Anyone in Europe heard an speculation about this?

Anyone in Europe heard an speculation about this?Anything is possible, but weight isn't just bad because it weighs something. In reference to the 2000 olympics lance said that he was probably a pound or two too heavy. He didn't mean that the one kilo of weight was too hard to pull, he meant that extra weight meant he hadn;t trained hard enough. If Jan needs lipo then it won't make him tour ready.

train hard and eat strudel, I can see a body sheath of fat
to reduce things like power to weight ratio. -

capilliaries that can only be built up through long slow
distance training that it wouldn't be effective. -

How else do you think the lipids get into the
bloodstream? LOL -

is a serious and damaging process not some easy method to
lose weight. -

that my fiancee cooked for me yesterday before a 1500m race

coffee and a cream bun. Lipid intake for healthy living...My tongue was firmly in my cheek regarding my liposuction

comments 🙂I genreally don't see Tom , except indirectly, since I
plonked him. However, liposuction is quite common as any
dematology practice can advise. It's frequently done under
the name of body contouring. Dangerous.........not medically
or cosmetically of extraordinary risk if done by a
competent, trained physician. I'm sure Jan could find a good
Swiss clinic. -
I think at this point it is even money that fat boy does not
start the tour. I think his team is must be very worried
they just wasted a few million.I predict he checks himself into a mental hospital when
they exclude his fat ass in an atempt to save some face in
the media.K

Where the hell is Andy when we could use a competent
opinion on the subject? Might kill the debate
though. Bill CAndy "wet blanket" Coggan, the man with the facts.

Lance AGAIN this year. Although he hasn't shown good form
in his early season showings it must be remembered that he
sure as hell didn't look all that good before last year's
Tour either.I find it facinating that people talk about Jan as if he was
some cow that wondered onto the course when he has
overpowered and overawed every single rider in the peloton
save one - Armstrong. -

the formula that "worked" instead of the one that keeps
getting him second place or knee surgery???...check his
results for the leadup to the '96 and '97 tour. -

comments 🙂It's remarkable how far you can go on a cup of oatmeal and a
banana. Coffee's for after the rides, keep you awake and out
away from the four-wheeled menace which plagues the streets
after 10 AM.
