I have one of those Cateye Micro-halogen lights that takes a 2.4W 4.8V globe with two little pins on the end. It's an earlier version I think of the Cateye HL500II, but looks identical.
The globe burned out, so where the heck can one get a replacement globe? I've tried bicycle shops, but so far, no luck. Are these bulbs exclusive to Cateye such that you have to throw out the light if the globe goes?

You *may* need to get an LBS to order it in especially, but PJ White are worth a call. They're an Adelaide lighting specialist. I can't seen anything specific on their site, but that's not to say they don't know of such a toy.

I had great luck with phantom and an old cateye halogen globe. They did however tell me they couldnt believe they had them though. They found them in some old box. :-).
