    Can anybody tell me the difference between last years pd7750
    and this years 7800 pedal Thanks

    One says "Shimano" the other says "Dura Ace". The 7800 also
    weighs slightly more because its colored to match those
    pretty new Dura Ace cranks.

    I'm currently riding the Ultegra SPD-SL pedals. They rock.

    The Dura Ace pedals have a lower profile and more
    expensive spindle.

    The 600's series Are they better than the 7800? Just bought
    a Trek 5200......what a bike:} Money is no object here. Just
    want the best

    The 7750's are fantastic. Broad base, relatively light, nice
    float, and I weigh in at 200lbs. They are really doing
    great... 7800 is just a "color-revised" version.

    No no no, Dura Ace is much better, I just happen to work at
    a bike shop. The paradox is that I realize that Dura Ace is
    better, I just cannot afford it.

    Hi, if money is no object, go with either version of the Dura-
    Ace. I ride the Ultegra version due to budgetary
    constraints. The one thing I have found, is that the cleats
    wear out rather quickly. I replaced the first set of cleats
    after riding 1389 miles. I really should have changed them
    at about 1000 miles. They were functioning ok, but the
    yellow pads were completely worn down and away. The new ones
    are safer to walk in and seem to engage better, but that may
    just be that I am riding more, not that spring is here.

    Am I missing something here? 1389 miles on a set of
    cleats? I recently replaced my Speedplay cleats after 4
    years and close to 20,000 miles, and only because one of
    the cleat springs broke.
