Clothing sizes

Anyway, I need some new summer clothes (and for my trip in
June to Project Linus convention) that fit and aren't all
faded. So, I'm going to order from Lands End. Can't find
good quality knits in any of the stores around here. I
can't decide whether I should order 1X or XL. I bought a
pair of Lands End pants a year or so ago in 2X. After I
lost another 25 #, I absolutely swam in the 2X pants, so
I'm wondering if I shouldn't get the XL instead of 1X.

Any one have experience ordering from Lands End? Am I
right that their sizes run big?

I have ordered from them here in the UK, and they were fine.
Sizes are pretty accurate, too. Check and buy on your
measurements!

Have you tried Weekenders? I love their clothes, and have
for years. I'm an 18-20 ish, and I wear their Medium
trousers. The clothes last for years, too, without fading
and looking scruffy. I just got rid of a bunch because they
were too big, and it took 6 years to wear out the first pair
of their trousers I ever bought! They sell through a party
plan here in the UK, and are, I think, a Canadian company.
You should be able to find a local rep.

Donna,

I have ordered from Lands End and I felt the sizes were
extremely large. I had bought a 2X sized polo that I felt
was too large that it didn't even look good. I would most
definitely order one size smaller than you normally wear.
Their clothes are nice. My fav is LL Bean. Good clothes and
will last a loooooooong time. Good luck and enjoy your trip!

Donna,

I've been buying from Lands' End for years. The great
thing about them is their "no questions asked" returns
policy. If you order something and it doesn't fit, just
send it back. Also, you can now buy alot of their styles
in Sears stores so you can try things on first, and you
don't have to pay shipping.

clothing & none of it in Plus sizes. I just looked
yesterday.
