Had my first experience with really feeling all those nutrition articles about the affects of sugar and the feeling of hunger. I used to be so saturated with sugar and garbage food that it never affected me before.
Tonight we went over to a friends for a weekly TV night and we accepted a piece of strawberry [censored] and some fruit salad. I counted the [censored] as a custard pie because I know the bakery that makes it and that was the best food type I could find to calculate points. Anyway, I used up a few flex points today, something I don't usually do. You would think that since I ate more today than usual, I wouldn't be hungry. But no, it's evening, a few hours after the [censored], and myself and my fiance are both hungry!
I can't believe it. My system is actually changing. Part of me knows this is a good thing because it means health overall but part of me is a little sad to learn this because when I was a human garbage can, nothing affected me so nothing mattered foodwise.

It is great when you become aware how certain foods affect you. It really helps make good decisions when eating out. Michelle Ozzie in Switzerland

That awesome that you were able to tell the difference in your body. I think it is always amazing how our bodies are effected by the food we eat. I have found that when I eat sugary foods I get really hungry soon as well because it raises my blood sugar and then causes it to come crashing down. But, I also do not want to give up some of the sugary junk food that I love...so, I have found that the best thing for me to do is if I am eating something that is not so good for me to pair it up with something healthy so they balance eachother. I find that I do not go through these bad changes and I am still able to enjoy a slice of cake but follow it with some peanuts.
change, even for the better, is usually scary, good luck Lee Alex Robinson <[email hidden]> wrote in message "]news:[email hidden]...
