Edinburgh where they can pick up old frames for next to
nought, and the pattern continues.

Are you Edinburgh-based? If so you're more than welcome
to have a play on mine (Oooer!). Would recommend The
Meadows, or somewhere equally flat to prevent injury if
you forget to pedal!

And you're more than welcome to try the same on my machine -
and I'd make the same recommendation - though I think a
'bent is a lot easier than a fixed.

I work in George Square (Linguistics, Edinburgh Uni), so the
Meadows is ideal, all we need to do is work out a time -
we've got the place!
