Help I have some spare cash. And an overwhelming urge to
splash out on a tandem. There's an empty space waiting for
it in my garage. Then today I checked out the Dawes
Discovery Twin only to find the 2004 model RRP is down £100
from the 2003 model and is now £699. I want those tandem
specific 40 spoke wheels, the tandem specific forks, and the
disc and drag brake compatible frame. And the other shiny
bits. To be used for shortish day rides and maybe an odd
weekend hostel tour. Is it up to it. Anyone know anywhere
near Glasgow I could hire one for a day first. Someone talk
me out it I don't need another bike !!. Iain C

to have a play on mine (Oooer!). Would recommend The

you forget to pedal!Jon

And you're more than welcome to try the same on my machine -
and I'd make the same recommendation - though I think a
'bent is a lot easier than a fixed.I work in George Square (Linguistics, Edinburgh Uni), so the
Meadows is ideal, all we need to do is work out a time -
we've got the place!Speak to you soon
