I have seen where it is advised to eat all your points
during the day. My question is this, If you should have 29
points, and you only get in 10 by
6:00 P.M. should you still try to get all your points in
before bedtime? Wondered if you should eat that much
during the evening. Thanks in advance

Theories vary. I have read the old "calories in/calories
out" which should mean it will not make any difference.Others suggest not eating a lot in the evening and even less
later in the night - some stop after, say 8pm.I don't think shorting for one day will kill the program or
trigger starvation mode. So eat some but stop if you are
uncomfortable.John said:

First off I would say if you are talking about one day, I
would have a high points evening meal. I personally would
not do this every day. I know people who do, and have
lost, but they did not lose as fast as I did (which was
not all that fast....) That may just be coincidence, or
maybe not....."John" <[email hidden]> wrote in message

I'm not sure either, as we've all heard the different
theories. I would say to try to stay within that points
range most definitely, but if you have a gob of points left
at the end of the day, don't force yourself to eat them.
Listen to your body and it will tell you. Good luck!"John" <[email hidden]> wrote in message

Guess it all depends on how you look at things. It really
doesn't matter what time of day you eat. Weightloss is
purely calories in vs. calories out. Eating late at night
can affect the scale in the morning, only because there will
still be more in your system that hasn't moved through all
those lovely bodily processes. <G> I've always been a late
night eater, before ww, during ww, and after ww. Guess what?
I still lost dang near 100 pounds. If you can get those points in, do it. Being a few short
occassionally probably isn't going to do any harm. Being
significantly short on a daily basis will ... with
weightloss as well as nutrional needs. What I did when I
knew I was way under points would be to eat a bit more for
dinner, then maybe have a bowl of cereal for an evening
snack. High fiber cereal with a cup of milk is a great way
to get those points in, as well as nutrients. Others swear
by nuts or peanut butter. There are lots of good/healthy
items that are higher in points that you should be able to
squeeze in when in a pinch.Joyce

I have to eat all of them or I don't lose. I also tried to stop my bedtime
snack and it was a disaster for me. I think that if you have that many
points left that you might at least try and get to the 20 that WW says is
the min. Now if I had that many to eat I would try and eat enough nuts or
cheese to get the points in, Lee
