Pecan Brownies
2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 3/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar 3 large eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 cups pecans, chopped
Preheat oven to 350 F. In a bowl combine flour, baking powder, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, and chopped pecans. Mix well; spread in a greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until light brown. Cool and cut into bars.
Makes 16 bars.
