One of the families favourite, or perhaps one that someone
has used for years and would like to share. Tania

    Warm Bacon Dressing

8 slices bacon 1 1/2 cups white sugar 3 teaspoons cornstarch
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    2/4 cup water
    3/2 cup white vinegar

Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high
heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside. In a
medium bowl, whisk together the sugar, cornstarch and salt,
and slowly pour in water and vinegar, whisking constantly.
In a medium skillet, add the crumbled bacon and pour the
vinegar mixture over it. Cook over medium heat, stirring
    constantly, until mixture thickens.

Dressing for Spinach, Strawberry and Almond Salad

2 tablespoons sesame seeds 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
    4/2 cup white sugar
    5/2 cup olive oil
    6/4 cup distilled white vinegar
    7/4 teaspoon paprika
8/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1 tablespoon minced onion

In a medium bowl, whisk together the sesame seeds, poppy
seeds, sugar, olive oil, vinegar, paprika, Worcestershire
sauce and onion. Cover, and chill for one hour.

    Salad

10 ounces fresh spinach - rinsed, dried and torn into
bite-size pieces 1 quart strawberries - cleaned, hulled
    and sliced
9/4 cup almonds, blanched and slivered or Almond Accents
Honey Roasted almond slices-I love these.
