My feelings exactly. Weather Channel says 63 but we know how
reliable forecasts are. If the 78-80 comes true, I'll be a
spectator and I won't ask for a deferral. My Marathon career
will be over. Why couldn't Spring wait a few more days?

There's clearly a large warm front rapidly moving east.
The Toronto area is also supposed to be very, very warm
by Monday.

Yea. I hear ya! I am heading out tomorrow for Boston. After
training in the sleet and snow all winter long, 80 is going
to be insane. My time goals will have to be severely scaled
back. I feel worse for my wife (her first and probably only
time). She trained very hard all winter long and now this!
Why can't they have it in the morning like every other
marathon? This would largely eliminate this problem this
early in the spring.

I have my reservations and my bags are packed so I am still
going to do it.

I live in Boston. My favorite meteorologist has been saying
we could break a record high of 87 on Monday. He's been
calling for 88F for two days now. Good luck.

Gladly, why do we have to wait till noon when the last bus
to the start leaves between 8:00 and 8:30?

I took the bus and arrived at the athlete village at
10:40 last year. I wish the last bus always left between
8:00 and 8:30.
