anyone own a diamondback from back when diamondback was a REAL bike company :d i have a 2000 DBR Zetec 4.2, ive only ever heard of 1 other person who has/had(?) a Zetec 4.2 frame
yep.. the pics not that great but still.. only difference from that pic now is it has my time ATAC carbon pedals on it, its got XT rear and LX the rest on it, mavix X138 wheels, and thats prettymuch it..
its pretty light compared to other peoples bikes i know, i weighed it sortof, it was REALLY rough but its somewhere between 8 and 9kg, i doubt its under 9 though lol
a guy who has a pretty good road bike lifted my bike up a while ago and said he thaught it was lighter than his road bike, thats gotta be good :d:p
My father has a proper oldskool Diamond Back, must be from about 1991. Its still going strong except the paint has seen better days, its a limited edition version of the Accent, he does ok though as I tend to give him parts off mine when I upgrade.
