  1. There has been some discussion of the Deltec Cozmo here and
    I've received a couple e-mails asking questions. I just
noticed that the Cozmo is now included in the Insulin
Pumper's Organization statistics. (Standard self reported
    data disclaimers apply.)

The total pump market by manufacturer breaks down as
    follows:

    Medtronic/Minimed 70% Disetronic 16% (not currently
available in the US) Animas 8% Smith/Deltec 5%

When I started Minimed and Disetronic were the only players
and Minimed had 90-95% of the US market.

77% of the pumpers polled use Humalog and 17% use Novolog.
This was 90%-5%, if memory serves, the first time I looked.
I don't know if this represents aggressive marketing of
Novolog in the US or a larger number of members from places
    where Novolog is more popular.

Pumper's test on average 7 times/day and, a to me amazing,
    16% test 10 or more times/day.

  3. The Disetronic 16% or the 10 tests/day 16%? I am in
    the latter.
