How many units are in a 3m/ltr cartridge? 0.5m/ltr syringes
hold 50 units, so each cart holds 50 X 6 = 300.

200u's per day would require 1400 per week and 5600
per month.

5600 divided by 200 is 18.6, so you'll need to buy in 4
boxes each containing 5 3m/ltr vials.

Now PLEASE tell me you're 6 years old and haven't yet
learned basic arithmetic, or your doctor lost his
calculator.

A vial holds 1000 units, so you're using 1/5 vial per day or
6 vials per month.

No I am not a child but I am lost at attempting to figure
out how much Insulin I need for the month. I use 300 unit
reservoirs and they must be refilled every two and a half to
three days. I never even thought about this until my
insurance was canceled and I now have to purchase the vials
on my own. I guess each vial has 1000 units but when I start
trying to figure it out my head goes into a swirl. Perhaps
due to my 300 plus blood glucose at my last test. I truly
can not think. And the insurance company thinks the use of
R,N and Lantus is better than the pump. I will probably go
out in the car tomorrow and run into a wall, can't see well
now either and my legs a swelling from the large amount of
Lantus 70-80 units and I am in pain. No joke here. My doc is
on vacation for two weeks and the CDE nurse will not be
available until the end of the week. Thanks again, Matt

Not looking for a pancreas transplant just a simple brain
will do. Type 1 1/2 32 years, usually the pump but no more,
now Lantus, Novolog, Glucophage and much more age is 50+

Simple math, Matt. A vial contains 1000 units. There are
about 30 days in a month. This is the reason God gave us
calculators.

Ok. I can go with that. But you're right, a 10 m/ltr vial
contains 1000u's.
