  1. Roughly when should hayfever start in the UK? I have
been sneezing a lot over the past couple of days but
don't think I have a cold but also thought it was too
    early for hayfever.

  2. <when should hayfever start in the UK?>

Don't know when it starts there but I've been told that
eating local honey on the comb (eat the comb, too) before
the season can help prevent serious symptoms. LK

I have the unfortunate position of having Perennial
Hayfever, which is all year. I am allergic to all type of
pollen. So from that stand point, it is all year for some.
But, I always thought that Hayfever (the normal type)
started with the flowering of Rape in the countryside.
    (Probably an old wives tale).

  4. Keep your nasal passages moist. Mornings, can put vitamin E
on q-tip and swab around inside nose to help trap pollen.

  5. Vitamin E on a Q-tip. That's interesting! OK, now for the
'stupid' bit. Where can I get the Vitamin E from?

  6. <Where can I get the Vitamin E from?>

Health food store, supermarket, drug store. Can buy it in
capsules.....stick capsule with pin and squeeze the oil
    onto q-tip. LK

  7. Thanks for that. I will give it a go.
