Thinking of camping and walking in the Peak District next month for two or three days and would be very interested in suggestions of best walks and campsites from those who know the area. Minimum needs for campsite are good toilets and showers and within easy distance of a pub that does meals, all types of walk considered.
Hardhurst Farm campsite just outside Hope at bottom of Win hill....basic campsite but the views are great , as is the walk up Win hill from where you can carry on walking over Lose hill & Mam tor...superlative walking

Do the walk round the edge of Kinder (20 miles approx). Once the first 'up' is done with it's there's not much up and down.

C&CC Site in Hayfield is nice and so is the adjacent sportsman pub. Good walking all around. to Edale for lunch and then back is pleasant.
