This was a disappointing week at the scale. Loss of 0.2 lbs. I did water aerobics 6 times this week and stayed within my points and drank all my water. The only thing I can think that would cause the small loss would be the muscles holding water, due to some intense workouts and also TOM came a few days early. So I am going to keep plugging away, as I feel so much better and more energetic with doing the water aerobics. The scale may not show a loss, but the muscles in my upper arms are starting to show some firming and also my tummy muscles are starting to feel the workouts more too. Basically, I feel smaller even though the scale says I did not lose much weight.

You are toning muscle, which is good. Also, you may find that when the scales don't love you, the tape measure does! --

Congrats on this week's loss, albeit a small one. They all add up in time. After last week's great loss, your body might just be taking a bit of break from dropping weight to catch up with all the changes. Don't get discouraged. Not only are you doing really well, Debbie, the water aerobics feels too good to stop!

You lost! You did NOT maintain. You did NOT gain. And you are feeling better and it sounds like looking better. So take it and run with it.
congrats

Debbie a loss no matter how small is better than a gain or maintain. YOu are probably retaining water, plus you are building muscle, maybe some basic measurments would help show your progress when the scales refuse to budge. Keep up the good work. Michelle Ozzie in Switzerland

Any loss is a great loss. I'm sure everything you've mentioned is playing a part in the scale situation.
This sounds like a great change for measuring. Why not see how far you've come in inches this week?

I bet TOM is to blame - it's frustratin' being a gel sometimes 🙂

Sorry that you were disappointed. .2 lbs is still a loss though and every bit adds up. I find that the weeks when I maintain are the weeks when I have the greatest inch loss.
