I moved to another country and so I didn't have much stuff
in my kitchen at first. As I accumulated things, I tried to
keep them organized but now I've got a mish-mosh of drawers
and cabinets that I need to reorganize. I'm lucky to have
wide, deep, pull out drawers where pots can be stored...I
also have about 6 "regular" sized pull-out drawers that
unfortunately have become 2 junk drawers, a dog drawer, a
place for aluminum foil and plastic wrap, a drawer filled
with manuals and a cutlery drawer. Additionally, there are
3 cupboards with 2 shelves each, most of which I use for
plates. I keep my spices on a kitchen block with wheels
that could probably be used for something better. The walls
are tile and nothing can be fixed to them so I can't add
any storage.
Ok, so how do you organize your kitchen? What kinds of
things do you keep in drawers, do you keep together, do you
keep on the counter ... where do you keep your plates, your
spices, your tupperware ... ? What's the best way to plan
out your kitchen?
Advice appreciated! Mia
